Policy Statement.
The Hockey Coaching Academy provides hockey coaching and athletic development coaching to children and young adults aged between 7 – 18 years old, at a variety of school, club and university venues. Our coaching is delivered via half or full day courses, half or full day hockey camps, or 1 to 1 sessions.
The Hockey Coaching Academy places the highest priority on the safety and enjoyment of all children and young people engaged within our programmes, and acknowledges our duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
The Hockey Coaching Academy has adopted England Hockey’s Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Hockey Policy which binds all clubs, associations and individuals involved in hockey. This policy will be strictly enforced and all players, coaches and parents are directed to read it and use as reference for any issues that might be of concern. The Hockey Coaching Academy also has adopted the England Hockey Safe Hockey provisions and these provisions will also be strictly enforced.
